  9. Becky! is a multi-featured Internet E-mail client for Windows(R) 95.
  10. You will find many useful functions which should be expected for an E-mail
  11. software and some of them would be beyond your expectation!

  15. - Windows Explorer like look & feel
  16. - Multiple accounts management: You can manage multiple mail accounts up
  17.   to 10, and switch to each of them quickly.
  18. - You can do every operation, except sending and receiving, off line.
  19. - Powerful text editor: Highly-functional text editor "Dana" is incorporated
  20.   for reading and writing messages. You do not need compromise in editing
  21.   capabilities for E-mail software.
  22. - Mail box management: You can create your own mail folders to put received
  23.   messages in order. Also, you can define "Filter" definition to move
  24.   messages to specified folders automatically.
  25. - MIME compatible binary file attachment.
  26. - Outbox capability: You can save composed messages you want to send  later
  27.   into the "Outbox" . "Deliver" command sends all messages in the Outbox of
  28.   all accounts.
  29. - Draft capability: You can save incomplete messages into the "Draft Box" for
  30.   polishing them later.
  31. - Reminder capability: You can send messages to "yourself" not to forget some
  32.   important (and forgettable) things. Those messages are delivered at
  33.   specified date.
  34. - Clickable URL and E-mail address: If URL or E-mail addresses are found in
  35.   a E-mail message, it is displayed in the other color. Double clicking URL
  36.   lets the URL activate in Netscape. And double clicking E-mail address opens
  37.   a compose window for the address.
  38. - Spell Checker for American and British English.
  39. - Url-encoded messages which are posted from WWW form are automatically
  40.   decoded when receiving.

  48. *Fixed Bugs.
  49. - Attachment with a long file name was not handled properly.
  50. - Mail receiving stalled when the mouse pointer was pointed outside
  51.   the Becky!'s main window.
  52. - When you re-edit the outgoing message, the permanent Cc and Bcc
  53.   were added again.
  54. - Export command did not write separators.
  55. - Unread mail checking didn't work properly due to the kind of servers.

  58. *New Features.

  60. - Remote Mail box capability. you can list up and check header information
  61.   of incoming messages on your POP server before downloading.
  62. - UIDL is supported. If you are using UIDL enabled POP server, you can check
  63.   unread mail in a moment when you have configured Becky! to leave mail on
  64.   a server.
  65. - Added 'Check All Accounts' command.
  66. - Unread messages are shown in bold faced font.
  67. - Space key enable you to read unread messages in all folders continuously.
  68. - The gray unread mark is shown on a folder icon when sub folders have
  69.   unread messages.
  70. - The folder names in the filter definition are automatically changed when
  71.   you change the name of folders.
  72. - You can specify 'any' headers in the filter definition.
  73. - The bottom of the list is shown when you select a threaded mail box.
  74. - You can stop the session safely as long as possible by clicking the
  75.    rotating icon at the upper-right. (It may not work or takes a few minutes
  76.    sometimes.).
  77. - Wrap long lines option; When you receive a messages with long lines,
  78.   they will be automatically wrapped. (Configure in the 'Receive' property)
  79. - Some short cut key is added; Ctrl+M to check new mail, etc.
